The Climate-KIC Centre Hessen is a central component of the European innovation network Climate-KIC which was established on January 1, 2010. As a strategic network of regional partners Climate-KIC Centre Hessen implements the goals defined by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The TU Darmstadt Energy Center maintains the leadership of the Climate-KIC Centre Hessen. The TU Darmstadt Energy Center was established as an interdisciplinary research and learning center, now servicing and moderating the region’s Climate-KIC partners as well.
